One Shot Heroes: Immune System Animation

I got another gig after the Carbon Crusher animation because they needed a 2D animator. It was suppose to be really rough and short because it was on a tight budget with a quick deadline. It took me 5 days to fully finish it, I used the 5th day to export and compress the file size down a bit so I guess it was more like 4 1/2 days?

Here's finished piece with sound. If you want to watch the rest of the film, do a search on youtube.com for "One Shot Heroes". My segment is from 1:00-1:40

Here's the animation just by itself if you don't want to watch all that extra stuff. Sorry I didn't get sound in this one.

Carbon Crusher Animation

Aw, this brings me back. I got this gig right out of school. It was for the Lawrence Berkley National Lab. It was my first opportunity to work with a classmate of mine who was a very talented character artist, Andrew Tuazon, on a 2D animation. He did the character designs for the animation and I vectorized them and animated them in Flash. It was a fun project to do, I think I finished the whole animation in 7-9 days.

Intro and Reel

Hey, welcome to my blog site! Usually people introduce themselves here, so let me start by saying that I like animation. They're one of my favorite things to watch and do. I enjoy animating because people enjoy watching it. Who doesn't want to passionately make things people like?

The reason I wanted to make this blog was to share with others some of my work. Hope you guys find it as fun to look at as I did making them.

Here's my very first 3D animation reel that I made right out of school in 2010. I do 2D also, but I was more focused at 3D at the time.
